Dr. Collins spoke briefly about his recent participation at the AAU Presidents and Chancellors Dinner (10/21/13) and the NIH Town Hall (10/23/13). He also mentioned that events postponed as a result of the government shutdown will be rescheduled.

Reproducibility Update: Lawrence Tabak

Dr. Tabak provided an update on the initiative to enhance reproducibility and transparency of research findings. His presentation focused on the principles for addressing the underlying issues as well as implementation of trans-NIH actions and pilots on reproducibility.
